Ok, so I know I sometimes vowed my kids would not be video or computer game junkies but I am one so I guess I should have kept my mouth shut. Bev and Jim gave us money for christmas and my hubby bought a playstation. Well, we got the Batman Lego game. It is so much fun (we are already addicted to the Star Wars lego games and the Indian Jones one). But who would have thought that Emma would? She loves it and after you finish a chapter you can buy the character Batgirl. It is her favorite. She comes home very day and asks to play it. She told me that is what she wants to be for halloween next year. I have created a junkie.
No problem, I have found that they tire of everything eventually. We have a Wii(which you should totally get!) Brad addicted to Rock Band(in which we all play and sing) Felicia has the new Wii Fit which she loves(but it freaks the dogs out apparently) and I'm Raving Rabbids(soo fun and educational I'm sure) and MarioKart. Just remember studies show that children who play video games have better hand eye coordination and are better prepared for our technological world:-)
