Ash has developed this habit of shredding our toilet paper rolls. And he likes to put his arms through them and run around. It is really funny but leaves pieces of them everywhere and ruins the rolls. But hey, they sure are cute kids in their family reunion shirts.

Ashton is a cute baby. If he decides to stick those rolls in the toilet, call Joe the Plumber to unclog it, okay?

Isn't Joe the Plummer the lamest voter strategy? I cannot believe the hype and boringness of it all. Especially since he lied about the intent to buy the business and exaggerated his woes. Didn't win any votes for me. Hey Ralph Nader is running again. Out of curiosity, does he run every election?

The Republican Party DOES NOT care about the average plumber or blue-collar worker. It is obvious by their tax schemes (which benefit only the very wealthy and business corporations). They merely use/exploit these workers as props in their speeches and campaign stops, i.e. when it's convenient for the GOP, not when it comes down to making policy.

It appears that (a) Wurzelbacher does not have a plumber's license; (b) he would actually do better under the Obama plan; (c) he says he hates higher taxes - this is true because he owes $1200 in back taxes to the State of Ohio and has a tax lien on his house; (d) a man making $40,000 is NOT going to get the credit line to buy a business allegedly worth $270,000 in today's financial climate; and (e) he may have been "planted" there by the GOP - he certainly appeared to lie in wait and he lied when he said, "I am getting ready to buy a business."

There is now noise of him running for Congress in 2010 - in the Ninth Congressional District. Only in this country can a tax-evading, unlicensed plumber's assistant be held up as a shining example of hard work and patriotism. I am tired of seeing this guy conducting interviews and press conferences. Perhaps, McCain should have asked him to be his V.P.

Nader was drafted in 1996 (he "walked" for president that election), but it does seem like he runs every four years; he has now been a candidate four times.
