Ok, so my hubby has such a soft heart. Lately Emma has been wanting to sleep with us in our bed every night. She kicks and lets just say its ruining other aspects. Well, we finally got her to say why. She is afraid of the dark. I bought a night-lite, didn't work. She is just afraid of being alone. So Jed keeps letting her stay. I am the mean mommy who complains about her ruining my sleep and kicking me in the back, etc... Jed finally fessed up and said he just can't let her.  He was afraid of the dark for a while and his parents didn't do anything about it. He still resents them and just can't let Emma be afraid. How could I say no to such a softy? So Emma is probably going to be a rather permanent guest for now. Sigh.

  1. I was never fond of the dark myself, but I shared a room with Lacy for so long and then slept on the top bunk(harder for monsters to get you up there, but Lacy would be easy prey) Later, I had stuffed animals to keep me company. Never underestimate the abilities of a trusty stuffed pig. I'm sure she'll be a real pig someday.

I actually still have the stuffed dinosaur you made me. I should give it to her to keep her company. But I sleep better with a person too. I never sleep well when Jed's away. Its kind of creepy. I guess I am still afraid of being alone in the dark too.
