Not much is going on this week. Jed finished his summer term and is now studying for his  boards. That means no fun till he's done. So our hope is that he will take them soon and we can get back to our normal routine of having fun in the evenings. Emma starts school in just two and a half weeks! Crazy. At any rate Ashton is doing fun things. He started standing today all by himself. He doesn't take steps but that means even more destruction with him when he learns to walk. He already climbs atop my couch and tries to get on my bar. No hope for us. I do feel a lot better about his teeth. Sometimes infants teeth come down with a little bit of extra enamel on the bottom. They call it a peg, so its like a little leg on the bottom of the tooth. That is what is going on with his front tooth. And, Jed said they either wear down or break off, and guess what? Ash's broke off. So his front tooth now looks normal. It had the weirdest look and now its normal. What a relief. Jed is right - I worry too much. I wish I had found a way to take a picture of it. It sure looked odd. But there was no way Ash would hold still and hold his mouth open. He would rather grab the camera. Did I tell you all that he tries to kiss me? It is actually kinda gross. He just opens his mouth and presses it (while open) against my cheek. Basically a slobbering. But he is cute. He cuddles his blankets and plays games. Claps... So cute. And I am annoyed that Jed is once again right, but he will be a dentist so he should know about this.

  1. It's true, I think you'll have to trust Jed on all things dental now. Spending that much time studying teeth has got to be worth something. If nothing else it's always nice to have a second opinion on dental matters int he house:-)
