My days are full with cute kids - what can I say? Yesterday Emma made me a surprise. She took her favorite ring, put it in a decorative box and laid it beside me while I was sleeping. I woke up to a present on my bed. She then said I needed a cake as part of my surprise. I didn't have the heart to tell her that if I make my own surprise cake it won't be a surprise. So I made my favorite - any guesses? Its not holy cake, that's lori. My favorite is red cake. So we had red cake. Ash is also excessively cute. He is pulling himself up and crawling everywhere. He crawled into the toy bin and got stuck. His head was inside and his legs sticking out. I resisted the urge to take pictures and just rescued him. He also crawls into my lap when he wants attention. He is totally cute. Jed is back in school and we are still trying to figure out why our car won't start. Thank goodness for the old reliable, bullet van. We would be lost without that old clunker. (gift from my mom). We don't know if its the humidity but ever since we moved here our Honda sometimes decides not to start. Really annoying when at the grocery store and Jed's at school. Mechanics have no clue - everything but a relay switch and the starter have been changed out. Other than that its hurricane season and hot. But we are happy and doing well.
