Its time to get ready for constant rain. The Hurricane season starts in June and the monsoon season starts in May here. Just a few weeks away. At any rate we got caught in the rain the other day walking home from the bus stop. We ran and took shelter under a stairwell in the nearest building. Why not run all the way home you say? Well here in Florida it does not drizzle, it only pours like you have never seen. And it doesn't let up. So we waited till it wasn't so bad. I didn't want Ash to get soaked and cranky. Emma decided to play in the rain and in the puddles. I don't know why I bother and I don't know why I don't carry an umbrella with me everywhere. She did get cold and cranky by the way. Thank goodness she takes spare cloths to school in her backpack. So I just put a dry shirt on her and ran home where everyone got a warm bath. But it sure was fun to see her play in the rain. I'm still glad I stayed dry though.
